Celebrating Our Unexpected Win as New Business of the Year at the Minto Chamber AGM

Opening Dulce Heaven Cafe just a year and a half ago has been a wild ride so far. We never imagined that our small venture would grow so quickly and receive such incredible support from the community. Winning the "New Business of the Year" award at the Minto Chamber AGM was a complete shock and a tremendous honour. This recognition means more than words can express, and it’s all thanks to the amazing people who have supported us along the way.

How It All Began

When we first opened Dulce Heaven Cafe, our goal was simple: create a place where people could enjoy an amazing cup of coffee, delicious treats and feel at home. We knew the road ahead would be challenging, especially as a new business in a small town. But the warm welcome from the Minto community gave us the confidence to keep going.

Starting a business in a tight-knit community means building relationships, not just customers. From day one, people stopped by not only to try our coffee and products but also to chat, share stories, and offer encouragement. This connection has been the foundation of our growth.
